Venue Spotlight: The Weingarten

Yesterday we were able to enjoy one of our favorite venues for a Bridal Show. The Weingarten is located in Belleville, Illinois, which is about 30 minutes from Downtown St. Louis, Missouri. If you live nearby and you've never been to this intimate winery, stop what you're doing and go right now (like, literally stop reading this and get in your car).

This unique venue boasts several rooms for different events from smaller bridal showers, to corporate parties and weddings of 200 guests. The beautiful tent with cathedral windows can comfortably seat up to 200 guests for you reception. The ceremony location, however, is our absolute favorite.

An easy path leads down to a peaceful glade, surrounded by giant oak, maple and walnut trees. The lush greenery makes for a perfect background. The guests settle into their chairs as the bride takes the pathway by a horse-drawn carriage. Yes, this actually happens. A white arbor covered in decorative flowers (BYOF - Bring Your Own Flowers) stands prettily at the altar space. The aisle is lined with lanterns resting on shepherd hooks to complete the look. Sigh...​

Even in the winter months, the Weingarten offers large rooms for your private events, with big windowed doors to watch the snow fall over the frozen lake.

We really just can't think of one single drawback for this venue.

Come and see for yourself! You'll find us sounding under one of the pergolas, sipping wine and listening to music from one of many local bands in the area.
