Vis Amari Event & Planning Co. was born of two friends with a love for event planning. Ashley and Stephanie met in the hospitality industry and built their dream business over coffee, wine and an obsessive attention to detail.

Ashley has always been a behind-the-scenes type of girl. She started planning events in high school and simply never stopped. She studied Graphic Design at Hickey College. Ashley has professionally coordinated weddings and corporate events since 2011. Ashley married her high school sweetheart, Dan, in 2015 and hosted the perfect rustic-chic wedding in Missouri.

Ashley’s life motto is “Dream it, Plan it, Do it!”



Stephanie has been planning parties and playing the hostess since childhood. She is also a part-time writer and received her BA from Webster University. Stephanie has ten years of experience in hospitality management and she has worked in coordinating events for nonprofits for over five years. She has coordinated and planned over 400 weddings and other private events. Stephanie planned (and "let" Ashley coordinate) her dream destination wedding to her now husband Nick, in Memphis in 2017.

Keri has worked with Vis Amari since 2016. She received her BA in Hospitality Management, with an emphasis on Floral Design from University of Missouri-Columbia. Keri found a passion for event planning from a young age. She grew up in a big family and has helped plan many weddings and events over the years. Keri's favorite flower in a bridal bouquet is the garden rose.
